Aristonate® L is a low molecular weight, low foam member of Pilot's new generation of oil-soluble sodium alkyl aryl sulfonates. Aristonate® L is a clear, dark brown, sodium petroleum sulfonate of medium viscosity, which finds use in a wide variety of low foam emulsification, corrosion protection, and lubrication formulations.

It is used as a flocculant in a wide variety of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment applications.
