Harcros Muriatic Acid Inhibited 15% is a colorless solution of hydrogen chloride with a pungent smell. It is a component of gastric acid in the digestive systems of most animals and humans. Muriatic acid is used in household and industrial cleaning products, as well as in refining metals.

It should be stored and handled in suitable non-corrosive materials such as fiberglass, reinforced plastic, PTFE, PVC/CPVC, rubber lined steel or polyethylene.
