H Care® SO is a 25% active stearamine oxide with conditioning properties comparable to quaternary ammonium compounds. It is slightly water-soluble, and its solubility can be enhanced by blending with anionic surfactants to offer a clear formulation. H Care® SO is an effective viscosity builder and useful in creating pleasing shampoo and hair rinse products. It is also gentle to both skin and eyes, causing no dermal or ocular irritation at 5% or less active use.
