PetrolAid™ RDX is an innovative low pH organic salt technology that replaces traditional mineral and organic acids such as hydrochloric, citric, phosphoric, formic, sulfuric, and their blends. PetrolAid™ RDX uses an “on demand” technology that release the necessary amount of hydrogen ions (H+) to react with calcium scale and iron oxide to form water soluble ions, making PetrolAid™ RDX a preferable alternative to traditional acids with superior performance and cost advantages compared to several traditional acids. PetrolAid™ RDX is DOT non-regulated, non- fuming, non-corrosive to most metals, phosphate free, and a low contributor to BOD/COD in effluents.
