T-Det® C5 is a nonionic surfactant produced by the reaction of castor oil with 5 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a clear to slightly hazy liquid that serves as an emulsifier, wetting agent, and detergent in various industrial applications. Compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants, it is used in agriculture, coatings, personal care products, and the textile industry. Harcros Chemicals Inc. manufactures T-Det® C5, which is an effective emulsifier for petroleum products and other water-insoluble materials.
