It is used in home care for institutional cleaners and in institutional and industrial cleaning applications for sanitizers.

Nouryon Sodium Hydrosulfide 45% is an economical form of reactive sulfur, typically a light-yellow colored liquid solution with the distinctive odor of rotten eggs. It is soluble in both alcohol and water. When Sodium Hydrosulfide comes into contact with acids, it releases hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), a toxic gas.
