Masodol® 25-7 is on the List of Trade Names of Inert Ingredients Database. Masodol® 25-7 is approved for use as an inert ingredient in pesticide formulations for food use, nonfood use, and is exempt from requirement of a tolerance under 180.910, 180.930, 180.940a*, and 180.960 without limitation.

Based on a C12-15 chain linear alcohol, Masodol® 25-7 demonstrates efficient wetting, moderate to low foam, and emulsification of soils for improved cleaning performance in a range of detergent formulations. Masodol® 25-7 is an excellent wetting agent, emulsifier, detergent, dispersant and solubilizer that can be used in many types of HI&I products including: paints & coatings, water-based degreasers, laundry and textile wetting, spray dried detergents, deinking, vehicle, and household hard surface cleaners. Formulators may use Masodol® 25-7 as a standalone surfactant or with amphoteric, cationic, and anionic surfactants.

- Storage and Handling Information
Store in a tightly closed container. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Avoid freezing and excessive heat. Recommended storage temperatures are 70-100°F. If exposed to cooler temperatures, product can separate. Mild heat and agitation should bring product back to original quality. Avoid temperatures > 175°F which may cause yellowing of the product. Ensure product is homogenous before use. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and observe good industrial hygiene practices.
