Preparation and Feeding Information
  • PWT 3001 is a dry polymer that must be pre-diluted in water before use.
  • One method for dilution is adding the polymer into the vortex of a mixed tank at a concentration between 0.1 - 0.5% polymer by weight and then mixing at slow speed (300 rpm maximum).
  • A much better method is to use a dry polymer make down system.
  • A number of commercially available systems will produce excellent results.
  • Polymer solutions should be aged for 30-60 minutes prior to use for best results.
  • Solution shelf life is 8-16 hours.
