Cola®Mate SI is a very mild sulfosuccinate surfactant derived from water-soluble silicone copolymer. It is useful in non-irritating skin cleansing and specialty applications, imparting foam that is easily rinsed. Cola®Mate SI reduces the irritation of other anionics when formulated together. In facial cleansers, it helps reduce irritation from harsh anionic surfactants.

Storage & Shelf Life Information

Cola®Mate SI is subject to hydrolysis. This hydrolysis is temperature sensitive, particularly at temperatures above 30ºC. Storage or handling temperatures above 40ºC are not recommended and will result in rapid hydrolysis. This material may become hazy and some precipitate may form if chilled during shipping. Gentle warming (at 30-40ºC) with mixing should return the material to a clear solution. If the material will not return to clear, it should not be used. Shelf life is 24 months from date of manufacture.
