Calsoft® L-60 is an odorless, hazy, and opalescent paste at room temperature solution of sodium linear alkylbenzene sulfonate. Pumpable at ambient temperatures, it becomes clear at temperatures over 100°F.

Calsoft® L-60 has excellent detergency, wetting, foam properties and rinse characteristics. Calsoft® L-60 is readily biodegradable and complies with the biodegradability criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents and contains no solvents or VOC’s. Calsoft® L-60 exceeds the United States Environmental Protection Agency’s Design for Environment (DfE) screen and is listed on www.cleangredients.org.

  • Household, Institutional and Industrial Detergents: Calsoft® L-60 provides copious foam and excellent wetting properties in household and industrial cleaner formulations either alone or with foam stabilizers. Calsoft® L-60 rinses readily and efficiently cleans hard surface areas. Perfect for laundry detergents, pre- spotters and fine fabric washes; hand dish wash, car wash, kitchen and bath cleaners, floor cleaners and other hard surface cleaners for HI&I applications.
  • Industrial Uses: The detersive, foaming and emulsifying characteristics of Calsoft® L-40 make it adaptable for use in agricultural emulsions, textile scouring and air entrainment for concrete and gypsum board.

Calsoft® L-60 is available in 55-gallon polyethylene drums (net weight 450 lb/206kg), and bulk tank truck.

Storage & Handling

Storage and Handling Information
  • Store product at temperatures between 40 and 100°F to prevent material from freezing. Avoid excessive heat. Spilled material is slippery on walkways and highways. Foams profusely when hit with a stream of water.
  • Use product in stainless steel, lined steel, or fiberglass reinforced plastic tanks for bulk storage. Please refer to the MSDS before handling.
  • Employ normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) when handling Calsoft® L-60.
  • Wash thoroughly after handling, do not get in eyes, and avoid skin and clothing contact.
