Calsoft® AOS-40 BZ is an anionic surfactant perfect for use in personal care and HI&I applications. Its detergency and soil removal properties, together with its stability over a wide pH range, makes it the surfactant of choice for many HI&I cleaners. Calsoft® AOS-40 BZ provides copious stable foam, mildness to the hands, hard water stability, excellent cleaning and grease emulsification properties in both light-duty and heavy-duty cleaners, such as: car wash, manual dish wash, all-purpose cleaner, tub & tile cleaner, laundry detergents and more. Calsoft® AOS-40 BZ can be used to formulate personal and pet cleansers like shampoo, body wash, hand soap, facial cleansers, pet shampoo, and more. Calsoft® AOS-40 BZ creates copious foam and soft silky lather, which is tough on dirt and soil yet gentle on skin and hair. Building viscosity in Calsoft® AOS-40 BZ based formulations is easy and economical and can be achieved by using amides, betaines, and salt.

Storage and Handling Information

Store in a tightly closed container. Do not store with strong oxidizing agents. Avoid contact with aluminum, iron, and copper. Avoid excessive heat. Recommended storage temperatures are 51-100°F to protect from freezing and from forming a solid gel at the bottom of containers. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and observe good industrial hygiene practices.
